You can estimate about 1000 lbs per square foot to be supported by the deck tiles. However, this largely depends on the surface on which the deck tiles are placed upon. For example, a concrete surface would be much stronger than a wooden deck. For especially large items, such as hot tubs, or sculptures, we would recommend cutting around the base, and placing on the surface beneath rather than the deck tiles themselves. Most common deck additions such as tables, benches, chairs, and other similar furniture should therefore be OK. Please reach out via our contact form (https://www.newtechwood.com/contact/) if you have any specific additions you may be concerned about.
